TagGen keeps its use of cookies and browser storage to the minimum needed to make the tools work and to remember what you chose.
Necessary storage
TagGen stores your favorites, recent tools, saved collections and cookie preferences in your browser's local storage. This is not used for tracking; it is what lets the site remember your own work between visits. It cannot be switched off without losing those features, and it never leaves your device.
Analytics
Analytics cookies would let us count page visits and see which tools people use. This category is off by default and no analytics script runs unless you turn it on in the cookie banner.
Advertising
Advertising space on TagGen is currently reserved but empty — no advertising network is connected and no advertising cookie is set. If we introduce ads, they will only load for visitors who have allowed the advertising category, and this page will be updated first.
Changing your choice
You can change your mind at any time by clearing TagGen's site data in your browser, which removes your stored choice and brings the consent banner back on your next visit.
Third parties
TagGen loads its web fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a request to Google's servers. No other third-party script is loaded on the site as it stands today.
